How would you describe your style?
My style definitely incorporates a little bit of everything, and I love to mix designer with VERY affordable pieces. I have always embraced the feminine “girly” look (lace, ruffles, and bows are my weaknesses), but I’m obsessed with edgier metropolis looks and can’t stay away from leather, animal prints and fur/faux fur pieces. I have always followed the trends (even more so now since it’s my job), so my style is forever changing. With that said, I’m never afraid to take fashion risks. I love to combine different types of looks such as girly curls, bright pink YSL lipstick and a full flirty skirt, all accented with a rabbit fur vest and my black suede Louboutin booties. My go-to affordable stores to shop at are Zara and H&M; I can always find something there to complete any look.
Favorite item you own? I rarely get dressed without my gold oversized Michael Kors watch and about 10 stacked bracelets varying from studded to leather wraps; My favorite being my new coral python bracelet by Yosef H from his collection at Henri Bendel. I also wear two of my favorite jewelry pieces from JL Rocks; a jewelry store co-owned by my best friend Ashton’s mom. My simple gold cross necklace and a flower diamond ring (always worn on my ring finger), were both birthday gifts and I have worn them almost every day for the past 7 years.
Who are your favorite designers? Chanel, Brunello Cucinelli, Alexander McQueen (congrats to Sarah Burton on the amazing Fall ’11 collection), YSL, Chloe, Herve Leger, Christian Louboutin, Loro Piana, Marc Jacobs, and last but not least Norman Ambrose. I’m a sucker for sequins so hats off to Naeem Khan, Alice + Olivia, Parker and Haute Hippe.
