Are Thuggies Some Sort of Joke?

Leave it it Canada to come up with something this dumb. Apparently Thuggies are to warm up after surfing or snowboarding, which is interesting because does Canada even have any surfing? He has been skiing for quite some time and has always managed to get warm after a day of skiing without one of these. Call He crazy but this seems like the ugliest dumbest idea in quite some time.
